Healthy Chicken Nuggets – Chino Hills Boot Camp

When you think chicken nuggets you probably don’t think healthy, high in protein meal. most likely you’re thinking greasy fast food that that tastes good but maybe not worth the calories. This are great tips to use when you trying to eat clean and have a workout program.   If you don’t, you can take a look here at our Chino Hills Boot Camp information site.

 

Well, I have delicious alternative for you…you must try this recipe, it’s totally delicious and has no fat!  Quick and easy too! Healthy Chicken Nuggets Recipe:

  • 2 pounds of lean chicken breast, cut into small pieces.
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoons oat bran
  • 1 table spoon of wheat germ
  • ½ cup ground nuts (optional)
  • Salt (optional)

Cut the chicken into small pieces; soak in the egg whites until completely covered. Combine the dry ingredients in a pan, put the soaked chicken in the pan and cover the chicken with the oatmeal combination.  When the chicken is completely covered place the nuggets on a cookie sheet (spray Pam on cookie sheet).

Bake at 375 for 40 min. or until crispy.

Sinless Ranch Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons of non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 small tablespoon of regular ranch dressing

Mix both ingredients well!! Enjoy!!
