From Food to Relationships

Hey AFF, (Awesome Fit Fam)

It’s the last day of Spring Break for a lot of us. I spent my morning enjoying a really long
breakfast with Amanda and Sonjia (Chino Super-Trainers). It was
so nice to sit and chat over egg white, oatmeal and coffee. Without having to
rush to get the kiddos off to school.

I have a lot of friends from years ago which I love and totally connect with on many levels, but I can really appreciate
friendships with people that are on exactly the same page as I am in regard to my fitness lifestyle.
It makes my fitness journey so much more meaningful and enjoyable.

One of the the most important things in life is relationships, great relationships do two things,
they bring out the best in you and you bring out the best in them.

Creating strong bonds and friendships with my clients and trainers comes natural. We all share so much in common and
we’re in this together. Whether you have been working out and eating right for years or you just
joined our AFF, like it or not, we all have a lot in common. Even the most experienced trainer can learn
from someone that’s new to this way of living!

Never a dull moment at The Camp…
Don’t miss our upcoming events (I especially like the one on 4/11)

-Cheat meal potluck on Thursday, 4/11 at 6pm in Chino (no 6 and 7pm classes in Chino that night regular schedule in Rancho).

-Join us on the MS walk (5K in Ontario starts at 7am on SAT, 4/20 NO BOOTCAMP IN CHINO OR RANCHO THAT DAY!
Sign up to be a part of our team at:
team name: Fitness Concepts

-Next Grocery Store tour is 4/23/13 at the Sprouts in Rancho at 6pm

-Next Nutrition Session is 4/24 at 6pm in Chino

I almost forgot!! We are kicking off a Fit RanX testing (basically testing your fitness level).

We had such great results when we offered Beast and Alter Beast Mode testing 3 months ago we decided to offer you an organized program with 8 different ranks to work toward. We will be testing once a month, let your trainer know if you are interested. You don’t have to be a super athlete to test, the levels are broken up from beginner to advanced. It’s a great way to track your progress and work toward a goal.

Check out my healthy complex carb pancakes!
Healthy Pancakes:

1 cup ground oats or oat flour
1/2 cup oatmeal (regular oatmeal, not ground)
1/2 cup flax meal
1 tablespoon of wheatgerm
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 egg whites
1 cup water (add gradually, the batter will thicken and will need
additional water, add as needed)

cook on skillet as you would regular pancakes

-I use I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter (spray) (not the best option but it does
wonders for taking care of my sweet tooth)
- I also use a sugar free syrup (you can find those anywhere Sprouts, even Target)

Enjoy…leave a comment!!
